Priceless Moment
My Priceless moment was taking my mom to her first Redskins game last year and having field passes. Just being able to make her think about something else than battling cancer and seeing her have a great time is something I will never forget

Priceless Moment
Are all the times my father (a Cowboys fan) and my mother (a Redskins fan) would argue vehemently about the NFL even though my mother didn’t really follow the sport. “Emmitt Smith was a crap cornerback!” haha

I frequent a sports bar regularly during Skins games, when I don't go in person.
It was 2006 and there are a few older guys who root for the Skins up there and we hang out. Anyway this was the Troy Vincent blocked FG game. Well, when Novac hit the game winning FG we all jump up screaming and I bear hug my buddy(he’s probably mid-fifties) and spin him around.
He threw out his back when I did that and had to see the doctor the next day. No hard feelings though, actually sat beside him during the Giants game last Sunday.

Dont have much of a dramatic story just that my whole 20 years of life i’ve been a skins fan. My parents who can barely speak english dont understand the game but they support my obsession, My priceless moment is getting some type of redskins gear for Christmas and having my parents say that one day they’ll buy me tickets to a game, we could never afford them, never did, and still haven’t gone to a game. Regardless I love my skins from my couch or a sports bar. HTTR!

Priceless Redskins Moment
I went to the Redskins vs. Packers game in week 5 of 2010. My dad bought the tickets as a last father/son trip after I graduated college earlier in the year. The game was a nailbiter from beginning to end with the Redskins winning in OT 16-13 over the eventual Super Bowl champs. We got to witness the Skins give the Packers all they could handle for 4 quarters and I don’t think we’ve ever yelled as loudly as we did when Landry picked off Rodgers in overtime. A game I will never forget.

My Priceless moment actually involves the redskins and cardinals. It was my first game at FedEx Field (or Jack Kent Cooke Stadium back then). It was an awesome experience to see the huge new stadium and to be there at the game with my dad, just like we had been doing at RFK was even better. And to top it all of…they won!

Priceless moment
For my first away skins game ever i flew to dallas in 2005 to see my team take on the cowboys. End result the legendary 39 and 70 yard touchdowns in the last five minutes. Ended up getting escorted out by security immediately after the game winning TD (for my own safety). HTTR!

Priceless Moment
I know a lot of people will probably write this moment but the Hand of God game was my moment. I was there with my Dad, last row right behind the endzone that the Skins made their winning kick at. It was such a crazy game, back and forth. Seeing Sean block that kick and running it back was crazy and then an un-timed down and then Novak’s game winner coming right at us. Can there really be a better moment?

Priceless Moment
My priceless Redskins moment was watching the Redskins beat the Cowboys 27-6 at Fedex Field to go to the playoffs during the season that we lost Sean Taylor. My buddy had gotten two tickets from work, and we were literally in the last row surrounded by Cowboys fans in the pouring rain. We didn’t stop cheering, despite some harassment from the Cowboys fans. At halftime, we ran into our friends mother who was leaving the game early and she gave us her tickets which were right up front. We spent the second half surrounded by Redskins fans, going crazy, and celebrating that we were going to the playoffs.
Christian B - September 14, 2011
This might be more of a Cowboys moment.
But back in 2007 I saw Tony Dorsett in an elevator. I was shocked and didn’t really know what to say. I asked if it was him , he said yes. I said “The Cowboys suck” and then got off.

Priceless Moments
RFK Stadium, 1991, i was 5 years old…
my dad got great seats and decided to take my sister and i to our first skins game.
i will never forget how the stadium moved with the energy of the fans. at 5 years old, i thought old RFK was gonna collapse with the fans stomping and jumping! as the stadium rumbled, i remember looking up to my dad (a warshingtonian and lifelong skins fan) and seeing him smile. it was pride. i knew from that moment, that PRICELESS MOMENT of rapture on my fathers face, that i was lucky to be part of the Redskins Nation.
i’ll remember that smile on his face forever.
(that was also the game where my sister got an autograph from Art Monk, and i learned ALL the words to Hail To The Redskins)
caryndenise - September 14, 2011
Warshingtonian
That is exactly how i used to pronounce wash until my then future wife pointed it out.
I didn’t even realize i was saying it wrong, it didn’t sound wrong. When others say it now I catch it every time.
PAinfUL - September 14, 2011

The stands moving
at old RFK really made that the best in stadium experience I’ve ever had. Anywhere. My old job had tickets to all the luxury suites in all the Denver stadiums, I had season tickets from 1996 until about two years ago for the Redskins, been to all kinds of games, and nothing compares at all to RFK bouncing up and down. The new stadiums are too antiseptic.
ThrowItDownBigManThrowItDown - September 14, 2011
I don't think i have been to a game since JKC stadium was built.
RFK was definitely an epic stadium. I really do miss watching that stadium bounce.

Priceless Moment
My priceless moment involves Redskins Training Camp in 2008. My fiancee was 9 months pregnant and ready to pop at any moment. We went to fan appreciation day and had to walk from the Business Park located before Redskins Park. We walked about 1 mile it seemed. She knows how important fan appreciation day is for me since I go every year. She knows we cant really afford going to a real game so she sacrificed She went and we had a blast. To make a long story short her water broke at the Park so I had to walk her all the way back to the car… Low and behold I have a 3 year old son who will be remembered as the youngest fan to be at fan appreciate day every. I will never forget that moment. PRICELESS Only problem is that his birthday fell on Fan Appreciation day in August 5 2009 so I couldnt go and it broke my streak.

2006 Redskins vs Cowboys in Prime Time
My freshman year in high school, I moved to Miami for one year, so I couldn’t catch a lot of Redskins game, but thankfully it was the year the Dallas game was prime time. I went to sleep that night with us down by 2 possessions and close to 2 minutes left. Waking up the next morning to the Sun Sentinal reading the Redskins came back and WON! That’s my Redskins memory! #HTTR

Priceless Moment (to me)
I know this probably can’t compete with cancer or war stories, but this was my priceless moment as a Skins fan:
As a kid, my Dad took me to a game (we didn’t have a lot of money then, and the internet wasn’t prevalent, so we only went to a game every few years when somehow either a great deal came along or someone gave us the tickets). The two of us watched an epic battle between the Lions and Redskins from the mid level seats at RFK. The game went to overtime, and the Redskins drove the ball down but fell short of scoring, turning the ball over to the Lions deep in their territory. Barry Sanders came running out of the backfield and fumbled the ball. Darrell Green (my favorite player then and now) scooped up the ball and ran it in for the game ending TD in overtime. RFK went nuts! I know it wasn’t a playoff game, and I know it probably wasn’t too famous of a moment in Redskins history- but to be at my second game ever as a kid, with my Dad, and to watch my favorite player, Darrell Green, score the go ahead TD against Barry Sanders’ Lions was really special to me, and I believe it shaped me permanently as a Redskins fan. Just a kid and his Dad, living and loving life- Priceless.

My husband and I were given preseason tickets last year, we sat in the dream seats..so they were really good seats =) It was such a blessing because we have 3 kids and we cant afford tickets to a game. My priceless moment: My college graduation gift from my older brother was 2 tickets & Tailgate club passes to the Redskins-Cardinals game in 2007. It was priceless because me along with all of my family have been Redskins fans for as long as I have lived. I finally got to see my favorite player, Sean Taylor ( RIP ST), and he had a great game, with an interception. It was his 2nd to last game and last game at FedEx Field. I was happy just to be a witness of the legend that was Sean Taylor. I had never been to an NFL game and the experience beats any day watching the game on TV. My brother and I have since gone to at least 1 game each year and I plan to keep that tradition alive as long as the NFL, Redskins, and us are alive. Hail to the Redskins!

PRICELESS
My priceless Redskins moment occured on Sunday as the Redskins defeated the Giants 28-14. My grandparents and I are huge Redskins fans. My grandmother passed away in April and before she got bad, she kept saying “there better be a season, there better be Redskins football”! Thankfully her wish came true. Now my grandfather is suffering with cancer and does not have much time left on this earth! On Sunday, with all of the health issues, he rooted hard for the Skins! He said “it seems like it’s been forever since a Giants victory”. I assured him he was right, since 2007! He was pumped when we won! This was the first time I have seen him in such bright spirits! Now that’s PRICELESS!!

Redskins vs Eagles
Redskins came back in the fourth quarter to win the game when all hope was lost. me and my buddies were some of the last the leave the stadium when we saw some Eagles fan leaving we started singing the "Na na na, hey hey, goodb…. when we hear somone from club level scream down and finish the chant with us. We look up and its Lavar Arrington! We all continued the chant a couple more times and he screams down for us to meet him in the parking lot for auto’s. We did and he showed up 10 minutes later to sign autos and take pictures. he was in a better mood about the victory than we were and it was just amazing to see and be apart of.

Priceless Moment
Last year Christmas dinner. My friend’s son who was only four at the time asked the whole table to join hands (as if we were all going to pray). Instead of praying he busts out in “Hail to the Redskins”. Needless to say the Steelers half of the family reluctantly participated.

Priceless Redskins Moment
Our company had a luxury suite in the “Owners Club” level two boxes down from the broadcast booth. As a job well done, our VP had given me a pair of tickets. While taking a leak during a break, Sam Huff steps up to the urinal next to me! While he was…uh…mid-business…I look over and go “Holy Sh*t, your Sam Huff!!” and reached over to shake his hand. I immediately realized what I did, apologized, and got out of the bathroom as fast as I could. I could not have made that situation more awkward than I did and still laugh about it.

My Priceless Moment
December 18, 2005
My wife and I went with a friend and his wife to this game, he is a huge Dallas fan and there was so much trash talk as we tailgated before the game. I remember the crowd chanting “We want Dallas” before Kickoff which was amazing. The Priceless Moment was a picture I took of my friend with the 35-0 score in the background, he looked like someone who had just had their spirit crushed. I loved it.

Art Monk
My priceless moment was meeting Art Monk a number of years ago on business. When I shook his hand I was reminded of that old saying, “the great receivers have soft hands”, which until then I always thought was just a saying. Well I’m here to say there are no bones in Art Monk’s hands. Shaking Art’s hand was like squeezing a sponge!
In fact if SpongeBob SquarePants was real, his hands would be like Art Monk’s.

My priceless moment
When my daughter was about 2 1/2 and her mom and I were watching a Redskins game…. the Redskins scored, I jumped and yelled “TOUCHDOWN!”.
My wife smiled and started singing “Hail to the Redskins…”…. my daughter tried to join in.
“Here are the Redskins. Here, Vicky! Brave on some poor path. Here, VICK-ICKY!”
She still loves to wear burgundy and gold at 11 1/2.
However, I can’t use the tickets this week… I will be stuck listening to the game, MAYBE, if I can find it, as I drive from Virginia Beach to Kitty Hawk, then out to Winston-Salem.

Green Bay for the Loss!
A friend and I were at the Green Bay game last year when the Packers were set to kick their soon to be second missed long field goal. A few Packers fans were sitting behind me as I was standing and gettin’ loud. They kept yelling, “Sit down, it’s just a field goal!!!”. I continued scream as the ball completely missed and the stands went crazy! We all high-fived around them and then I politely added, “next time stand up a root for your team, and maybe you wont miss two!” After the game they left mad, but I gave em a good game handshake. If you wanna sit in our stadium you better get up off your feet and yell!
We also got front row seats to Orakpo cutting through their O-line. What a glorious day!
HTTR!!!

Priceless moment
It was just a game or two after ST21’s death, the Redskins were punting and the ball hit the ground – and rolled for about 25 yards before coming to a halt at the 1 yard line. Beautiful. It was like Sean was reaching into the game and directing the ball from beyond the grave. And then the Redskins went to the playoffs with our backup QB at the helm, it was great.

Priceless Moment
My college roommate and I used to watch every Monday Night Football game over a six pack of beer. We would walk from our apartment to a local bar (Champs for any of you State College folks), grab a six pack, and head back to the couch. He’s a Packers fan, but we never really cared who was playing: Beer, Football, and Comraderie were the orders of the night. I am sure you all know where I am going here, but enter the Monday Night Miracle. Redskins Dallas, and it’s been a rough game. Since everyone hates Dallas, of course my buddy was feeling my pain. I am literally walking toward my room after deciding to call it a night when Santana Moss goes all “Santana Moss” on the Cowboys (sorry MasterCard for the DirectTV guy voice). I stop mid-stride and watch Santana beat his guy deep and take it to the house. After hearing all week that Moss isn’t a legit #1 – boom goes the dynamite! Needless to say, I decide to stick around and watch the last minute and some change. To anyone who says lightning does not strike the same place twice, I have two pieces of evidence to the contrary: the Empire State Building (gets struck an average of about 23 times/year) and Santana Moss. I cannot even describe my reaction when Santana took it to the house. Again. For the game winner. What I can describe is my roommate (remember the Packers fan?) jumping up and down on our coffee table yelling “Holy crap, holy freaking crap – did that just happen?” He proceeded to jump off the coffee table onto me and start beating on my head yelling more of the same. Not the most meaninful game season wise, not a big Super Bowl win, but holy crap what a game!

Priceless moment
I can’t use the tickets, so I’m not in the contest.
My priceless moment came in 1989. I was 15 and I saved up my money for a ticket and a bus ride to the game. I lived near Virginia Beach and it was a night game. I wound up with tickets about 9 rows up in the metal section of the stands that covered the baseball field. They were playing the cardinals, and just crushing them. The metal stands were bouncing up and down what seemed like two feet. The entire stadium did the wave for the entire fourth quarter. It was amazing. It is the closest thing I have experienced to the crowds I’ve seen on tape from the Beetles concerts.

My priceless moment was when me and my father first heard that Joe Gibbs was returning to coach the skins. My father actually started crying in front of me and this was the first time I have ever seen him cry. This was an emotional moment for him since he had just buried his father and my grandfather in his favorite Redskins jacket. It was a priceless moment because it showed me how much more this team means to my father than just football. Its not about wins or losses but about the way the Redskins are a vehicle to understanding emotions and memories, like the loss of his father.

Priceless moment (still). I've shared this
On here before. But my pricesless moment came In ‘91, week 10 vs. The Oilers. We were still preserving our undefeated record. My buddy and I were sitting a few rows behind Houston’s bench. Moon was playing as well as Rypien, and the score was tied at the end. Moon drove the Oilers down to kick the field goal to win the game, (don’t remember the length, but it wasn’t very long). I always thought it was Del Greco, but it was actually Ian Howfield kicking. As he was warming up right in front of us, everyone around us started heckling and throwing things at him. I literally saw a hot dog, and an apple fly threw the air. Lots of popcorn though.
Long story short, he missed the field goal. Rypien drove us down the other way, and Lohmiller kicked the game winner. I KNOW we helped get that win. Good ole’ RFK.

IRAQ VETERAN - PRICELESS
Hi Kevin, you probably remember my handle, as I was stationed in South Korea for the last two years. Was in the Army for seven total. Served in Iraq for 15 months. If the tickets are still available, I’d love them for my wife and I, as I am now FINALLY done with my service and am back home to Maryland. I would love to see a game in person. My most PRICELESS moment was when I was in South Korea for and when the first season away from the states, I was going through withdrawls, as I have always purchased Sunday Ticket in my other stateside duty stations. In Korea, of course, theres nothing of the sort. But my wife got an email from a family friend about watching free online at atdhe.net. Saw every game after that. South Korea is 14 hour difference so every Monday morning, even though I had to be up at 6:00 for Physical Training, I woke up at 3:00 AM and watched the 1PM games live. The ability to continue my dedication to this team I’ve loved forever was my PRICELESS two years in South Korea.

Must Read Priceless Moment
Mine was four years ago when I was able to take my dad to his first redskins game for his birthday. It just so happened to be the Cowboys game where we missed a field goal and had to punt the ball away. The cowboys ended up hitting Witten for a long pass and lined up for the game winning field goal. After the FG was blocked and picked up by 21 (RIP) and the cowboys recieved a personal foul penalty, we hitting the winning field goal with no time on the clock.
The stadium was electric, i just wish i would have know that it was the last time that i would see 21 play and the last game my dad would be able to attend. I like to think that he is looking down on us this season and if there was only one game that we were able to attend together it was that one. My Dad was barried in his redskin polo and all his gear shotley after that game

Priceless moment
Back in 2005 my mom was on a week long business trip in dallas. On sunday morning my dad told me we were going to visit her which i found pretty odd since I had school the next day. Monday morning we flew into DFW where we spent most of the day with my mom when she was free. Later my dad told me that the real reason we were visiting was to catch the monday night skins vs cowgirls game later that night. Something kept us at that game to the end despite us being shutout almost the entire game. But in typical redskins fashion, Brunell found Moss on those two late TDs and the Skins sent the cowgirls fans home crying. And to top it all off, we both made it out of that stadium alive despite pretty much skipping out of there in our skins jerseys

My priceless moment, undoubtably is when my uncle, cousin and I, all went to a Ravens vs. Redskins scrimmage about 2 years ago. Before walking into FedEx field, we noticed there was a contest for children who dressed up like a football player or cheerleader. the winners were to get tickets to another game. My cousin got his picture taken and we entered him in the contest. My uncle wrote down his cell number, not realizing he left his phone in his car. When the winners were announced, my cousins name was up on the jumbo screen. My uncle and I began to completley freak out. We pointed out his name to my cousin. He started to cry! He kept shouting “Make them take it off!” Needless to say, this was easily a priceless moment that i will never forget, thanks to the whole Redskin’s organization.

priceless moment
Was last year when the vikings came to town. My father and I are both lifetime redskin fans. With that being said we both loved brett favre as well. I know I know save the coments. So last year was my first as a season ticket holder who h I split with my cousin so I talked him into letting me take my dad to this game.I remeber us being so excited when banks took one to the house only to be called back. We all know how the game ended but the memory of being there to see the skins and favre in his last year was great. Its even a greater memory for me know because my dad a high school football coach passed away unexpectedly in may at the age of 48. Ill always remeber that november day.

Priceless Moment
I was tailgating with some friends for the Redskins/Eagles Monday Night game. We were having a great time cooking out and doing alot of 12 ounce curls. As kickoff time was approcaching my body was starting to slow down from sleep depervation and doing the12 ounce curls. I got into the car and fell asleep and my friends left me there to sleep. I woke up around half time and didn’t realize I was at FedEx Field. So I got myself together and went in to enjoy the rest of the game. All I can say is that wingmen sucked lol.
