Gaffney, Stallworth, Armstrong, {insert any Redskins WR besides Moss} are all 2nd or 3rd tier scrubs who probably wouldn’t even crack most NFL starting lineups.
They said about Brandon Lloyd? Look, I’m not really doubting him. All I’m saying is we’ve been begging for the team to develop our own talent for years. We finally have some waiting in the wings now, so why bring in another high priced free agent? Isn’t that the old way of doing business? Personally, I’d just assume stay away from the top tier free agents for awhile. Unless its a young stud O-lineman.
Now, that said, if Dez Bryant were to become available……
Dez Bryant? The Dez Bryant w/ 3 career starts? The malcontent? The guy that's always hurt?
You get upset about Stevie Johnson but try to make a case for Dez Bryant?
And who said that about Brandon Lloyd? And how can you compare that situation? Lloyd averaged 500 yards per year and 4 TDs. Stevie Johnson almost eclipsed that alone just last year.
How do you feel now? They came back and did it! I just wish the Bears beat the Packers. The refs had some very strange calls in that one—both against the Bears.
Since the Eagles are probably the toughest competition in our division...
.. I’m rooting for the Giants. Not Manning, just the Giants. If they can somehow win while Eli lays an egg, that would be great. Seeing the dejected faces he makes is just so enjoyable.
After the game Vick was whining how the refs aren't protecting him
as they do other QBs – mentioning late hits, blows to the head, etc. Sort of weird because the hit on which he got hurt seemed legitimate (and his hand injury an accident), as was the one last week. Even Tony Dungy appeared to not support him, and all the guys on the show seemed to think the problem was with the Eagles, and specifically, the offensive line. Michael may be psyching himself out. It gives me hope that we might be able to beat the Eagles on 10/16.
Fitzpatrick is finally clicking, I need him to get a bunch of points.
I can’t believe I left the Viking’s D on my bench, I thought Stafford would be pooping on them but nooooo, since I benched the Vikes they have to have over 40 points. ass holes.
So I’m watching the bengals and 49ers and trust me when I say the 49ers are bad, shucks begs the question of how bad Dallas is to have to come back and win in OT? Two games have shown Dallas really isn’t good. I don’t who the root for in the giants eagles game. Want to see giants in the basement, but want to see the eagles punched in the mouth.
Yes fragile. Vick is constantly hurt. The guy is not that big and is constantly injured, whether a nagging injury or an injury which holds him out of the game. Yes fragile.
a bunch of clowns cryin’ and complaining but yet when the offseason was up and running those clowns were ‘creamin’ all over themselves….but hey, it is what it is!!!!
Can anyone figure out what the hell the ref was looking at when he called back the TD because of a supposed hold? No one was even near the guy he called it on. I sure hope the Redskins don’t come up against some whacky calls like that. I’ll go ballistic.
because his name is McNabb and the other guy’s name is Grossman. most people love to base their “knowledge” on what happened 5 years ago. McNabb sucks. the last two head coaches who saw his every single one of his snaps on film got rid of his ass.
Stokley playing for the Giants makes me laugh
Parks Smith - September 25, 2011
So did his drop on 3rd down.
SpartanFS47 - September 25, 2011 via mobile
haha yea
Parks Smith - September 25, 2011
I'm being dumb and starting Montario Hardesty over Robert Meachem in my flex spot
I feel like I’ll pay for this gamble…
Dammit Cerrato... - September 25, 2011
high risk/reward
I had Hillis in my work league, luckily Ingram is my 4th RB in that league.
Parks Smith - September 25, 2011
Stevie Johnson would look mighty nice in B&G next year
Parks Smith - September 25, 2011
So would Dwayne Bowe
VA_Skin - September 25, 2011
I would hate to have Dwayne Bowe on my team
Dammit Cerrato... - September 25, 2011
maybe, but
You really want ANOTHER receiver?
CJHutch - September 25, 2011 via mobile
He's 25 and a tremendous playmaker
I mean how long do you expect Moss, Gaffney, Stallworth, etc to be here?
Parks Smith - September 25, 2011
Not to mention
Gaffney, Stallworth, Armstrong, {insert any Redskins WR besides Moss} are all 2nd or 3rd tier scrubs who probably wouldn’t even crack most NFL starting lineups.
VA_Skin - September 25, 2011
hey don't talk about our scrubs like that!
Parks Smith - September 25, 2011
isn't that what

I love the Bills/Lions/Browns; they’re all my second team after the Skins, haha.
My best friend is a Packers fan, so I’m a little biased. ;)
JohnWebb - September 25, 2011
Giants vs. Eagles... can't decide who to root for... is it ok to root they both get a bunch of injuries?
It would feel so… evil… rooting for injuries.
1x1an - September 25, 2011
root for a tie
Parks Smith - September 25, 2011
I thought that since we beat the Giants... a Giants win... would be better than a Eagles win
I just can’t bring myself to root for the Giants… or Eagles for that matter
1x1an - September 25, 2011
yea but that's assuming we lose to the Eagles
Parks Smith - September 25, 2011
I will say I hate the Eagles a lot more than I hate the Giants
Parks Smith - September 25, 2011
yep. Eagles should lose. Eagles lost. Good time. Now on to the Cowboys!

Hightower’s my lone Redskin, and he’s my 3rd back.
Dammit Cerrato... - September 25, 2011
I'm good on WRs (Tana is my flex)... but my RBs suck.
I have RB Turner (ATL) but then D. Williams (CAR), Helu (WAS), Thomlinson (NYJ).
I have TE Vernon Davis (SF)… but he’s been sucking… thus… I’m playing TE Fred Davis this week

I have Turner too, I'm surprised Williams is as unproductive this season as he is

1x1an - September 25, 2011
How is it possible that the Eagles, allegedly the greatest team ever assembled in the history of organized sports, are losing a game???
Jeff Bernard - September 25, 2011
They have a bad O-line and a bad linebacking core.
No run D, and no push upfront.
tw10 - September 25, 2011

Donnio1234 - September 25, 2011
Did anyone notice Andre Carter?
I wonder how that is working out for him too.
I always liked him….I just knew that once we switched to a 3-2 def, his time at Washington was up (since that was the reason he left the Niners for).

oops...meant 3-4 Defense

Tis a great core
except best. Man cannot run the ball.
He’s a playmaker but literally has no ability behind the line of scrimmage.
speddfreak - September 25, 2011
he's doing well in PPR leagues... they seem to be using him as a receiver... and CJ for short yardage
1x1an - September 25, 2011
Torrey Smith is having a great game
ENsDad27 - September 25, 2011
When McNabb said this would be a special season...
..he didn’t say what specifically would be special about it.
willster - September 25, 2011

He’da been better off working the farm with Favre.
CJHutch - September 25, 2011
Vick says his hand is broken... blames Umps for not calling a late hit...

my opponent had Brees and Welker. Got 80 points between them….
TerpsAllTheWay - September 25, 2011
I lost out big too...
WR Deion Branch (NE) 0 points
RB Michael Turner (ATL) 2 points
QB Josh Freeman (TB) 12 points
D/ST Saints 4 points
4 starters, 18 points between them
1x1an - September 25, 2011

Can anyone figure out what the hell the ref was looking at when he called back the TD because of a supposed hold? No one was even near the guy he called it on. I sure hope the Redskins don’t come up against some whacky calls like that. I’ll go ballistic.
caps&skins - September 25, 2011
The Vikings Blog "Daily Norseman" is exploding about McNabb...
The bloggers are clamoring for the team to sit McNabb and start the rookie Ponder.
It only took them 3 games… we waited until December… and still some thought it was crazy to sit him for Grossman.
1x1an - September 25, 2011
because his name is McNabb and the other guy’s name is Grossman. most people love to base their “knowledge” on what happened 5 years ago. McNabb sucks. the last two head coaches who saw his every single one of his snaps on film got rid of his ass.
