Jeff Bernard - January 14, 2012
God I hope SF wins.....fuck the Saints.
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Wt is wrong with you???
Saints vs. Packers…
LA11 - January 14, 2012
nothing is wrong with me, I don't like the Saints
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
I have Carlos Rogers not being a factor
Fresh92 - January 14, 2012
Lets go Pats!!!
Please save me from the 24/7 Tebow show also known as ESPN.
LA11 - January 14, 2012
PREACH +1!!!!!
Fresh92 - January 14, 2012
+2
TerpsAllTheWay - January 14, 2012 via mobile
ESPN is the reason I won't buy cable/satellite tv
Bullet Nation in Exile - January 14, 2012
The irony is that Tim Tebow is essentially the new Tom Brady when we're talking about ESPN.
So it’s a lose-lose situation. I think I’ll just go the superficial route and say that Tom Brady looks like a model, therefore he should win.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
I think the Saints lose…their rushing D has not been good this year.
Kevin Ewoldt - January 14, 2012
Both the Saints and the Packers have shown that even with genuinely shitty defenses they can win a lot games because their offense is so explosive.
Drew Brees out duels Alex Smith 9/10. Frankly, I think the Saints and the Packers would be much more exciting considering defensive battles aren’t worth watching if your team isn’t one the ones playing.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
I respectfully disagree with you on defensive battles,
granted offensive battles promote more ticket sales and such but they also produce the pussy rules now enforced to have “a better game.” Now I am not attacking you or anyone else for enjoying top-notch offenses but I truly enjoy watching exotic blitzes, crushing sacks, and stellar secondary play.
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Didn't take it as an attack, don't worry!
And I understand that completely. I’m not saying I will turn off the TV if my team is locked in a defensive battle, but if it’s two teams I’m not a fan of, I like excitement and scoring from both sides.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
gotcha
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
The Packers are far from a shitty Defense.
TheDeepBall - January 14, 2012
Saints and Patriots win today...
then they meet in February for the highest scoring Super Bowl in history. All offense, NO defense
ptowny - January 14, 2012
Haha
Now THAT’S the Carlos I know
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
He probably forgot to put his contacts in today
willster - January 14, 2012
Stone hands sighting
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Holy hit
JLynnDC - January 14, 2012
Harbaugh looks like he has to take a dump
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
Damn
Those bastards are hittin
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
did you see that hit? whooooooo
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Wait how do they go to commercial
before saying who recovered the ball?
JLynnDC - January 14, 2012
They did say
49ers got it
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
Didn't see that
All I heard was that it was a fumble.
JLynnDC - January 14, 2012
Also didn't see any replay
JLynnDC - January 14, 2012
It's OK
You can just take my word for it
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
Oh good.
JLynnDC - January 14, 2012
Helmet to helmet hit
Should have been a flag
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Don't think
It matters on runningbacks
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
he wasnt defenseless, he was a runner
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Got home, and cable is out
Cool
tman5 - January 14, 2012
Are the 49rs running a WCO?
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Damn SF is lucky
JLynnDC - January 14, 2012
Staley should get a flag
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
Nah they are "letting them play" today apparently
willster - January 14, 2012
Yeah but
He took his helmet off
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
Maybe he had an itch
willster - January 14, 2012
Maybe
Still supposed to be a penalty. They got Moss for that when he was talking to the ref.
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
Right, I know what you mean
I’m just dicking around of course.
willster - January 14, 2012
Sack fumble by harper
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Did they hit the kicker?
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
They said it was tipped..
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
3 and out by saints
That’s rare
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
i really like Aldon
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
what the hell are the saints doing
just go shotgun 4 wide. 1st drive is proof san fran cant stop them.
davetrembling - January 14, 2012
Ted Ginn just got rocked!
Still think leading with the crown (head down) of the helmet qualifies as unnecessary roughness. Lucky neither neck was broken on that play. Helmet manufacturers have really stepped it up.
ShaneNC - January 14, 2012 via mobile
boom beotch!
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
I'm fine with SF winning as long as Carlos plays like ass
willster - January 14, 2012
yeah fuck that guy too
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Bumbling
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
Fools
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
saints falling into the trap
don’t let the other team dictate the style of the game
davetrembling - January 14, 2012
Yeah shouldn't the Saints be using the pass to setup the run?
They seem to be a pass-first team from what I’ve seen.
willster - January 14, 2012
Davis's slam dunk
Wasn’t as BA as Jimmy Graham’s
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
i hate san fran and that jerkoff coach of there's
davetrembling - January 14, 2012
I do too
And stone hands
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
+1
Especially the coach.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
Carlor Rogers fail
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
YES SIR DEFENSE BABY
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
I only started watching Saints games because we get them a lot in Carolina..
Then I bought a Breesus jersey after meeting him during the Katrina cleanup… Then I started to reeeeally appreciate Sean Payton’s coaching style… Then I realized there’s VERY little to dislike about this franchise. We have so far to go as an organization but I have high hopes that our smart, hard working young rookies will become part of the DC community and we can draft that true leader.
And then Drew throws a pick…
ShaneNC - January 14, 2012 via mobile
The 49rs seem like a bunch of
Insufferable *bleeps that take after third coach
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Lot of game left
willster - January 14, 2012
Especially for the saints offense that can score a lot of points quickly
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
saints better step up here
playing like a fucking joke
davetrembling - January 14, 2012
trips to one side
why are they playing so far off there?
davetrembling - January 14, 2012
easy score
davetrembling - January 14, 2012
You gotta be fucking kidding me
Seriously, Saints?
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
this is shocking
davetrembling - January 14, 2012
Saints at least need to have a stop
Before it gets really out of hand.
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Hold 'em to a field goal and it's bad but not too bad
21-0? That’s a hole that’s mighty hard to dig out of.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
Who Dat?
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Who dat dun gawn turned da ball ova
willster - January 14, 2012

irishgoon - January 14, 2012
im also sick of the non-funny state farm commercials
davetrembling - January 14, 2012
These green bay state farm commercials
Are getting rediculous.
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
like a good neighbor....
ahhh go to hell
davetrembling - January 14, 2012
Got a stop
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile

willster - January 14, 2012
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
damnit
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
His knee was down
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
That's not a fumble.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
Now this is the Saints I know.
Slow, methodical. That’s why Brees has so many attempts/completions.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
Also his absurdly high accuracy like 75%
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Yeah right now he's at 84%
Insane.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
Jimmy Graham is a boss
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
You're kidding me with that throw
Unreal
SCSkin21 - January 14, 2012
Amazing can't even describe it
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
damnit stainhead
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
drew brees is a boss
fantastic throw.
brazilianbeast - January 14, 2012
Looked like Carlos wearing Crabtree's jersey
willster - January 14, 2012
nice int
whitner just destroyed Henderson after that…LOL!!
brazilianbeast - January 14, 2012
1 INT is uncharacteristic of drew brees but two...
the maroon bird - January 14, 2012 via mobile
Wow
This is pretty amazing. You have to try to turn the ball over 5 times early in the 3rd quarter.
Jeff Bernard - January 14, 2012
Justin is a beast man
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Justin agrees with you
willster - January 14, 2012
That guy Carlos Rogers is pretty good...
I remember him from somewhere…
DavidDunn - January 14, 2012
Probably from The Eastern Motors commercials.
LA11 - January 14, 2012
i have to give it to the Aints, 5 TO's and only down 6
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
damn that midget
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
We have a game folks
willster - January 14, 2012
Wow
That might be the best throw Alex Smith ever threw.
willster - January 14, 2012
Wondered if they were actually going to call 12 men in the huddle
willster - January 14, 2012
god I hate bonehead penalties in crucial situations
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Holy shit!
willster - January 14, 2012
i hate the saints
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Could have been worse
They could have done that with like 13 seconds left on the game clock.
willster - January 14, 2012
man whoever wins, this has been a good game
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Who knew
This game would be a shootout?
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
WOW
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Ballgame!
Wow, that was a hell of a game!
willster - January 14, 2012
This game is a classic
Jeff Bernard - January 14, 2012
Grats to the 49ers
Harbaugh has done wonders with them in just a single season.
willster - January 14, 2012
man i love this fucking game
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Turns out
Alex Smith can play.
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
Lots of us wanted Shanny to go after him in FA... the majority of HH wanted to kill us!
Turns out, Alex Smith wasn’t the problem… Harbaugh proved it!
1x1an - January 14, 2012
Now it's Tebow Time
willster - January 14, 2012
Going to be tough for Tebow to follow that game
Jeff Bernard - January 14, 2012
that was epic
no words!!
brazilianbeast - January 14, 2012
TD Brady. Thats game.
Jeff Bernard - January 14, 2012
that didn't take long
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
In case the latest Tebow spoof hasn't circulated around yet
Jimmy Fallon spoofing him as David Bowie
willster - January 14, 2012
it is scary to think of how many points the aints could have had without those 5 TO's
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Yeah Tebow!
That’s how you beat a shitty defense!
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
I hate this game
Don’t want either team to win
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
fuck it, I'll pull for Tebow...even though I think he is getting piledrived tonight
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Well, at least
We know this game ain’t going down to the wire
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
To be fair it did look like that for a while during the first game...
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
Yeah, but
Denver ain’t winning a shootout
CJHutch - January 14, 2012
haha true
I’m glad. No more Tebow hype once he goes down in flames. I hope it ends in another 29-yard sack!
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
The Patriots are making it look effortless.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
What a terrible pass by Brady...
WTF
ENsDad27 - January 14, 2012
stupid college offense
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
As of right now, our best Xs Os guy, UKRedskin is now 1-4 in playoff predictions. I wont mention with Pats cruising ill be 3-0 today. Oops.
Kevin Ewoldt - January 14, 2012 via mobile
watch out, you might get hit by a flying cricket bat
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Ken is looking good with that Broncos prediction. Please lets all.never let him live that down.
Kevin Ewoldt - January 14, 2012 via mobile
It looks like the winner of the 49ers vs Packers/Giants will win the SB... AFC teams suck!!!
1x1an - January 14, 2012
I am a huge fan of running the ball but seriously?
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
I bet Elway is drinking heavily
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
Oregon QB entering the draft
tman5 - January 14, 2012
I'm reading the Broncos game thread and it's sick.
Yeah, it’s a little douche-y for Belichick to keep his starters in, but wishing for Brady and Co. to get injured is completely classless. No, just no. They may be running up the score but wishing injury on ANY player is wrong, plain and simple. They’re also attacking people for pointing out that Tebow is playing like shit. I’m glad there’s a lot of intelligence on this site. Damn.
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
i never understood this "running up the score" nonsense
it’s your job to stop them and if you can’t then that is your fault….not the other team being classless
irishgoon - January 14, 2012
True
The objective is to score points. And since when should there be a sense of etiquette in a game where men beat each other up in pads?
DCO'sfan - January 14, 2012
Did Gronkowski get a head injury?
Or does he always talk like that?
