Ah yes! For me, there's no better time for gambling than the Super Bowl. The mecca of ridiculous bets. This week I'll take an early look, but next Friday I'll post my actual picks, which is when they start mixing in the NBA and golf tournaments, for example: What will there be more of: Andray Blatche missed layups vs Clippers or Ahmad Bradshaw fumbles?
The Giants are getting 2.5 points, so let's get that bet out of the way that I'm taking the Giants. Their defense is stout and Gronkowski is nursing an ankle injury. He'll of course play, but I still bet on defense. Here's some early bets I'm thinking:

I have got to disagree with the Peyton bet, maybe historically they don’t show Peyton that much (honestly I couldn’t tell you), but no way they avoid him this time with the Super Bowl in his home city and his status up in the air.
I think the better Prop bet would be where do we see Peyton more, during the game or during the commercial breaks.

Yea, that’s a good point. Peyton does well at hiding though in these boxes and he comes across as a guy not wanting to take attention away from Eli. Being in Indy, I now love the “Jim Irsay” name being said at "1’ OVER.
Oh, and I also LOVE Heads on the coin flip at -105. I got a tip on that.

yeah the other factor with Manning is this is against his nemesis so I'm sure they will make a big deal about that (esp. if the Giants are winning)
i doubt there is enough places to hide for Manning not to be shown that many times.

I wouldn’t go that far. Though i’ve been impressed with him down here (he’s a lot nicer to the press when he’s relaxed).
The South team has better talent all around, and the North team is on about their 5th backup center for Michael Brewster so I’m guessing a couple fumbled snaps. My predicition is South Carolina DE Melvin Ingram will be the star of the game.
