Yes, the Peyton Manning talk had reached ad nauseum, but this post is all about gambling. Which bet would you make if someone gave you a $20 voucher (odds via Wager Web)?
Which team will Peyton Manning play for next season?
New York Jets +200 2/1 bet $100 to win $200

San Francisco 49ers +1000 10/1 bet $100 to win $1000
Field (any team not listed) +100 1/1 bet $100 to win $100

What will happen with Peyton Manning next season?

Up is down…down is up…I’m guessing Cleveland.

That's what I'm hoping
but why isn’t Cleveland even on the list?
SCSkin21 - February 1, 2012
Would you want to go to Cleveland?

It seemed to make sense to go for Peyton if he didn't ask too much money
but I read an article by a “fan” and it was devastating. Seems that Peyton is pretty much all about Peyton. Like, he would not be much of a mentor to whoever we get as our QBOTF – he does not treat other QBs well at all. Throw in his known proclivity for wanting to run things – a control freak working for a control freak who is trying to teach his son to run an offense – and his risky medical history – and you might get a real mess.

Agreed

We’ll bring Jim Sorgi out of retirement. Problem solved!

I think those Zona numbers are pretty good
but Cleveland may be in the mix due to vicinity….

Double your money on a bet that he retires?
I think I found the answer to my liquidity problem

I'm sure he wants to go to a contender
and a team with a decent O-line and run game.
so scratch the Redskins. Houston is set with Shaubb. I feel the same about Bmore and Flacco. SF because they are building a new stadium and have a former IND qb as a head coach.

Elaw - I think it is quite reasonable to rate us as a contender this year
assuming we get a decent QB, beef up the O-line a bit, somehow get two good safeties, maybe add a big WR – really not all that much besides the QB (safety could solve itself with OJ and Laron, Hank could solve WR, and the O-line could be OK if Brown gets healthy). We were clearly competitive with the NFC east last year. It won’t be easy because of a tough schedule, and I don’t see a Super Bowl visit, but 9 or 10 wins and the playoffs are at least a hope. I know Shanahan will not accept anything less than the playoffs (in fact, anything less and he will be heading for retirement).

i think
He makes us a playoff team. Add grubbs/nicks and 2 rookie ol-preferbly a c and t…draft a wr and sign Wayne(trade gaffney for a 7th).
