Kerrigan one of 9 first-rounders to start all 16 games - Rich Tandler's Real Redskins
The Redskins were the rare NFL team last year that had all of their 2011 draft picks still in the organization at the end of the season. But taking a look at the first round, linebacker Ryan Kerrigan was one of only nine players to start all 16 games.

I can't wait until the combine...
it’s fun to see the mock drafts crumble to the ground and get rebuilt based off of the extra tenth of second in the 40, or the extra couple inches in the vertical jump. I love it
ptowny - February 15, 2012
I love that Cris Carter addressed the issue with Randy Moss - that he's a quitter
Randy Moss had a mountain of talent and a mole hill of mental fortitude which is why I can’t stand him. We’d better not sign him!
aFan4Life - February 15, 2012
I would be beyond shocked if Shanny went after Moss.....
MagicHat - February 15, 2012
I doubt very much that we are in anyway going after Moss.
I still feel like this locker room is incredibly fragile, young, and impressionable. Bringing in a guy like Randy Moss to a team that won’t have immediate success could be a disaster. I hope they in no way consider this move and suspect they aren’t even entertaining the idea.
mbedner - February 15, 2012
Your comment about our locker room is what scares me...
Two of our recent high draft picks are probably talking about puffing that Shrek dung while DeAngelo is being bipolar and blaming being roasted on the guy who gave him a glare with his shiny watch in row 15.
All jokes aside, take London out of our locker room and I’m borderline frightened.
Ohio Redskins - February 15, 2012
D'Angelo is the most competitive guy on the team
except maybe for London.
Donnio1234 - February 15, 2012
We had a shot at Moss on the waiver wire last year and passed. 0% chance we love him now a year out of football later.
Kevin Ewoldt - February 15, 2012
I heard an awesome strategy in terms of Mike Wallace last night
Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan were saying the Ravens should bid some outrageous number for Mike Wallace. If the Steelers don’t match it then they get Wallace for the 29th pick, if the Steelers do match it then the price has been seriously inflated and they’ve basically screwed their division rival.
Parks Smith - February 15, 2012
That's pretty awesome haha.
Jpage0024 - February 15, 2012
That would be really funny actually.
mbedner - February 15, 2012
Pat Kirwan & Tim Ryan
For my money their show on Sirius is the best place to get football info & raise your football IQ. Pat Kirwans book “take your eye off the ball” is a fantastic read for anyone wanting to enhance their football experience.

Parks Smith - February 15, 2012
What annoys me...
is seeing a guy who makes 50million over 6 years (8.3 per year) complain about another guy making 20 million per year. He’s your boss dude. My boss makes double if not triple what I make. Its the nature of the beast. I’m not saying that Roddy doesn’t work his ass off for that money, but I do get tired of hearing about rich players and rich owners complaining about not getting enough money or that someone is making more than them, but I guess they’re right when they say “more money, more problems”. Why don’t they do us all a favor and lower ticket prices so this guy can go to a game once in a while?

Yes, Goodell's contract isn't that big for a CEO of a large business
And he got the NFL a good contract with the players, and apparently with TV. It’s insane for a player to talk about somebody else being overpaid. For one thing, the owners paid it, they must think he’s worth it – i.e., it’s a free market.
Donnio1234 - February 15, 2012
It's just another example of "already-rich" people complaining.
Its literally drives me nuts. If he doesn’t like the situation then head on over to working a $15/hr job.
Jpage0024 - February 15, 2012
That YAC thing
Is bothersome. Has been for many years. But I don’t blame it on our receivers, at least not for the most part. We haven’t had a QB who can hit a guy IN STRIDE in, well, I don’t know how long.Brad Johnson? Maybe Brunell for 3-4 games.
CJHutch - February 15, 2012
Agree
Jpage0024 - February 15, 2012
I don't think we have had the type of WR
who is capable of breaking tackles, and taking the ball to the house. Hank would be the only current guy I would think may have that ability. Moss no longer has this – he actually seems to be pulling a “Portis” more often than not these days. AA can do down just by staring at him. Gaffney is a possession WR, and nothing more. Rex never threw to Paul, so we don’t know about him. Austin is a tough SOB, but he needs to get himself on the damn field.
Truthfully, our best option is Davis – so his ass better be retained.
Tiller56 - February 15, 2012
I think you right
We better retain him and he’d better get his shit together.
Redskin44 - February 15, 2012
For 8 million per season
he better have his shit together. If not, some of the vets need to take him for a little walk behind the ole woodshed.
Tiller56 - February 15, 2012
I think TEs are only 5.5mil this year, actually
slightly more reasonable.
mbedner - February 15, 2012
thanks
my bad
Tiller56 - February 15, 2012
Yeah, that's true
But not all YAC are from breaking tackles. Sometimes it’s about being faster than the guy chasing you, which means AA should qualify. Sometimes it’s about shiftiness, and I do think Moss still has some of that left in the tank. But a lot of times, it’s just about timing and/or, truthfully, getting lucky. Timing is the reason why the mediocre receivers that have gone through the systems of the Colts and Patriots have excelled. They’re QB’s get the ball to them I the right place, and while in stride.
Knowing where the ball’s gonna be can give a lesser talented receiver the edge over a DB. Unfortunately, like I said before, it’s been a LONG TIME since our receivers have known where the ball’s gonna be.
CJHutch - February 15, 2012
"AA can do down just by staring at him."
Love this.
I agree, Hank is our only hope to break a big play and we don’t even know for sure. I also agree that Freddy can get it done, but it all hinges back on the delivery of the football from the QB.
Ohio Redskins - February 15, 2012
Freddy?

The Redskins offense snap counts
Are always a real eye-opener, I followed them all season.
We had the most players on offense in the division and not all of that was because of injury–obviously two of them were suspensions and the rest was a result of just crappy talent.
Nine wide receivers and six tight ends in one season! How the heck can you explain that?
Only two players played every snap and they were both on offensive line–too much turmoil for a zone blocking team, we will never get anywhere with this lack of playing experience.
And for those few of you who think DeShawn Jackson is the answer, the statistics from last year compared to Gaffney are hilarious… just say no to both Jackson’s, they are both head cases and potential cancer in the locker room.

Just watched some highlights of Tannehill
And I’m already not liking him because of his release. His throwing motion is almost that of a sidearm passer. Why can’t the redskins just find a good ol’ over the ear passer?
Bdam - February 15, 2012 via mobile
All the Colt Brennan fans disagree.
Kevin Ewoldt - February 15, 2012
Bdam - first I heard that about Tannehill
UKRedskin and many others looked at him and didn’t mention it. And if they did take him, I hope they don’t try to change his throwing motion, as Zorn did with Colt. Ryan can make it work – look at Tim Tebow.
Donnio1234 - February 15, 2012
Honestly...
Hearing the name “Tebow” in the same sentence with “Redskin” even if they aren’t directly related makes me kinda sick to my stomach haha.
Jpage0024 - February 15, 2012
I hope you're joking
God I hope you’re joking.
CJHutch - February 15, 2012
Once again I didn't follow him this past year too much so I did not see all his throws
but from the few clips I have seen it just looks like he’s one of those “unconventional” throwers. I’m not saying he won’t be successful, I’m just one of those guys who grew up playing quarterback and was around other passers that all had the straight over the ear passing mechanics. I always get nervous watching those flick-like passes from sidearm QBs
