The Bucs, as expected, cut Albert Haynesworth since he was due over $6 million next year and is a lazy piece of turd. I came across a TampaBay.com article from early January where Albert addressed his poor play:
"It was just me not having a good offseason, worrying about whether I was going back to the Redskins, all that stuff," he said.
First of all, what does working out have to do with anything else? You stay in shape because you're a professional athlete. It was likely you were going to get cut or traded anyway, so really, you screwed any team you planned to play for. JACKASS. Sorry, please continue, Albert...
"One day before reporting to (training) camp, I get traded (to New England), then I'm there trying to learn that system and dealing with that. I had a lot on my plate and a lot on my mind. Then I got [to Tampa] and it kind of freed me up to get back to how I play. So as time went on, I got more comfortable in the system and things got a little easier."

Memorable #92 Redskins quotes:
"I mean, I'm not for sale. Yeah, I signed the contract and got paid a lot of money, but ... that don't mean I'm for sale or a slave or whatever." [link]
"You're not going to remember Albert Haynesworth as a bust." [link]

I blame the invention of the cheeseburger and strip clubs
Parks Smith - February 16, 2012
no doubt they contributed!
aFan4Life - February 16, 2012
Who knew that when the hamburger was invented...
that Albert would invest heavily and that Rex would spend his entire off-season in a McDonald’s parking lot.
Jpage0024 - February 16, 2012
It's Lebron's fault.

Haha. Involuntary Tebowing.
Jpage0024 - February 16, 2012
Odd... I knew Fat Al liked to plank, but Tebowing is new for him...
mbedner - February 16, 2012
hilarious
I actually found another pic of him planking too. Im going to make a post of this. (also found one of him Bradying).
Kevin Ewoldt - February 16, 2012
See thread about planking
DudleyDoright - February 17, 2012
hahahahahahahahaha
That is the funniest thing I’ve heard via twitter. Thanks!
willster - February 16, 2012
HAHAHA!!!
HTTR4LIFE - February 16, 2012
amazing
Maroon and Black - February 16, 2012
what a waste of talent
I still remember him pushing that bears guard into cutler. I wonder if anybody even gives him a camp invite
taylor21 - February 16, 2012
Jim Washburn in PHI is a maybe.
Kevin Ewoldt - February 16, 2012
That's where I was thinking
or maybe back in Tenn.
tmarine17 - February 16, 2012
Could be but I doubt it.
Haynesworth has to much baggage in recent years and doesn’t seem like he learns from his mistakes, and then when you look at the Eagles side of the field they just had the worst possible outcome after signing all those big name FA. That would be PR suicide for the Eagles, I mean he was on waivers last year and they didn’t want to bid in for him.
p.robb87 - February 16, 2012
Even if he did go to Philly..
He probably wounldn’t last long enough for us to even play him this season. I was looking forward to a Patriots match up in 2011 against Albert. Alas they saw the light too.
Jpage0024 - February 16, 2012
Dream Team...
NittanyBlueHen - February 16, 2012
.....indeed..... hahah
Jpage0024 - February 16, 2012
As long as it's the base 4/3
someone will give him a shot.
Big Spoon - February 16, 2012
if only he actually liked football
cooley was right, it seems he does not enjoy playing football. It was just a lottery ticket for him.
atark001 - February 16, 2012
It makes me so happy
that he has failed miserably since leaving here. I hope he ends up messing with the wrong person and gets thrown in jail. He will broke in 5 years.
tmarine17 - February 16, 2012
"Thank You, Albert!"
-Signed Adam Archuleta, Antwaan Randle El, Brandon Lloyd, Jeff George, Jeremiah Trotter, Jesse Armstead, Dana Stubblefield, Bruce Smith, Deion Sanders, Mark Carrier.
44ever - February 16, 2012
See you in hell Albert.
iH8dallas - February 16, 2012
He looks like he is willing to work hard
Sign him up Shanny!
PJ_21 - February 16, 2012
And who could forget his defense for the W Hotel incident.
“I don’t even date black chicks.”
iH8dallas - February 16, 2012
Whats funny is I was at Redskins Park one day and saw Albert with a black girlfriend get in his car with him. She looked like Jada Pinkett Smith. Light skinned, but Albert is a liar. Shocker.
Kevin Ewoldt - February 16, 2012 via mobile
He's just a bad human being.
He sucks at life.
iH8dallas - February 16, 2012
Except for the boozing, boating, and banging chicks around the clock….that doesnt suck at life. The fact he ran a 22yo off the road and never once visited him in the hospital or paid his bills (civil suit still pending) says it all. The Redskins knew about this before giving him all that contract too.
Kevin Ewoldt - February 16, 2012
Hopefully that era of ignorance is over. Looks to be.
Jpage0024 - February 16, 2012
Remember when haynesworth was good
Me neither
Benson L - February 16, 2012
anyone notice
how ne didn’t lose til the super bowl after cutting him and tb lost every game after signing him
ashylarry703 - February 16, 2012 via mobile
I liked this signing when we made it
I loved watching him play when he was (in a contract year) in Tennessee. He probably will play hard next year if noone picks him up and he has to sign a 1-year deal to go somewhere.
CarverM - February 16, 2012
I've never disliked a player more
That wasn’t on the Cowgirls roster.
Ohio Redskins - February 16, 2012
Ugh
So sick of this guy, thankfully his career’s all but over.
2up2down - February 16, 2012
Rams
Hey, maybe he winds up with the one coach who could handle him?
monkeyhouse - February 16, 2012
Could also still go to Philly for a severely reduced price.
mbedner - February 16, 2012
Can we sign him to a contract where....
he pays us what he cost us in the first place?
Jpage0024 - February 16, 2012
How do the Redskins have anything to do with his conditioning....
…when there was a lockout and all the players were on their own to stay in shape? His problem is he thinks everyone else is as %$#$ing stupid as he is, and he thinks they will buy this shit.
willster - February 16, 2012
and the previous year he insisted on conditioning on his own and then failed Shanahan's conditioning test
As if I needed a reason to despise Fat Al more…
aFan4Life - February 16, 2012
"His problem is he thinks everyone else is as %$#$ing stupid as he is, and he thinks they will buy this shit."
the sad thing is…. some people will.
Sean Qtip Guilliams - February 16, 2012
As the old saying goes.
What comes around goes around . It was funny after a lil while up here in new england alot of people didnt like him much either , its so funny the lazy ass is getting what he deserves period .
washingtonwin - February 16, 2012
I remember the day we signed him.....
I was sitting in this hole in the wall bar down here in Wilmington, NC. I was talking football with an older couple who were from Tennessee and we saw the signing. They both said, “You’re going to regret this”, simultaneously. The reason the memory is sticks out so vividly is it’s pretty much the same sentiments I heard from my dad when I told him I was marrying my ex wife.
Cheers Albert and Babs you worthless fucks
Wilmncskinsfan - February 16, 2012
Im not sure if I should laugh at that...
But that’s funny as hell!
Jpage0024 - February 16, 2012
lolz
Sean Qtip Guilliams - February 16, 2012
Shanny was right the whole time...
That’s what I like about the current staff in place… accountability. The first time someone holds Mound of Ice Cream and Hotdogs accountable, he falls apart.
kilbyman - February 16, 2012
The title of this post made me want to punch a wall.
What a prick Haynesworth is… zero personal accountability, a terrible role model to kids, and just a bad guy in general.
