I must say, I liked him a little more as a politician than as a Redskins QB (though I'm a libertarian, personally), as he was a fairly pragmatic and reasonable statesman. Good luck to him in the future.
Actually, his second run in Washington was probably more fruitful
The man, had he planned out his actions and support sooner, could’ve mounted a serious challenge to Nancy Pelosi as House Minority Leader at the beginning of 2011.
30% of the time isn't "making hay siding with Republicans"
However, there were a lot of Dems in the House who would’ve backed Shuler had he carried more momentum into the meeting in early ’11 when they reelected Pelosi as Minority Leader, because they felt Pelosi either a) drug the party too far to the left, or b) made voters think she had drug the party out of what mainstream voters wanted.
This is just Washington whispers and such, which I do pay attention to. It’s something more depressing than the Redskins.
The state’s Lt. Governor is running and he is a Democrat, so I doubt Shuler would jump in the race, especially since he hasn’t been fundraising and would start waaaay behind.
woohoo!
maybe he plans to come back here and be our starting qb?
im pretty sure he could beat out rex or beck lol

For fun (or induction of vomiting), I pulled this up...
Career stats with the Redskins for Shuler, Beck, Grossman…
Shuler (19 games, 13 starts, 4-9 record as starter)
186-390, 47.7% comp, 2,403 yards, 13 tds, 19 int, 58.3 rating
Grossman (17 games, 16 starts, 6-10 record as starter)
339-591, 57.9% comp, 4,035 yards, 23 tds, 24 int, 74.4 rating
Beck (4 games, 3 starts, 0-3 record as starter)
80-132, 60.6% comp, 858 yards, 2 tds, 4 int, 72.1 rating
Grossman, amazingly, turns out to be the best of the three……….holy God, we DO need a QB! LMAO!

His second run in Washington was about as consequential as his first...

No, he couldn't have
he was a blue dog Democrat who made his hay by siding with Republicans.

Ha. Agree there.
It is when you do it on the major issues, like health care reform or stimulus.

Possible NC Run as governor

Possible, but doubt it.
The state’s Lt. Governor is running and he is a Democrat, so I doubt Shuler would jump in the race, especially since he hasn’t been fundraising and would start waaaay behind.
